Financing a new build purchase

French mortgages are a popular method to finance your new build purchase. Lenders are as familiar with new builds as they are with resale properties. The staged payments that are a feature of new builds pose no obstacle as the lender will fund these as and when required.

It is advisable to look into how you wish to finance the property as early as possible. If you do opt for a French mortgage, details of this will be inserted into the reservation contract.

Alternatively, you may fund your purchase using equity from your home country; this will be seen as a cash purchase and details of this type of mortgage will not be included in the reservation contract.
